A Bronx Wedding Full of Faith and Joy
On November 2nd, 2025, I had the opportunity to photograph Ashley & Christopher’s wedding day in The Bronx, New York, a celebration that beautifully combined faith, emotion, and family connection.
The morning began with getting ready at the church, something quite special and different. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Ashley prepared for her walk down the aisle just steps away from where she and Christopher would soon exchange their vows. There was an undeniable calm mixed with excitement in the air—one of those moments where every photo seems to capture both anticipation and serenity.
The ceremony, held inside the church, was filled with emotion from the very beginning. As a professional wedding photographer, I always look for those small but powerful moments—the tear in a mother’s eye, the proud smile of the groom, the clasped hands during the vows. After the ceremony, we took some time for their wedding photo session, using the beautiful church architecture and nearby outdoor areas. The Bronx has a unique character—it gives each photo depth and warmth. Later, they moved to Van Cortlandt Park Venue, where family and friends gathered for the reception to continue celebrating. Laughter, music, and heartfelt speeches filled the evening—a perfect closing for a day that began with prayer and ended in pure joy.
