Mae & Justin: A Dream Wedding at Chic by Royalton, Punta Cana
March 15th, 2025, was nothing short of a fairytale as I had the privilege of capturing Mae & Justin’s stunning wedding at Chic by Royalton in Punta Cana, Uvero Alto. There’s something magical about a destination wedding—the ocean breeze, the golden sunlight, and the undeniable energy of love in the air. This wedding was an absolute dream from start to finish.
Our day started with the getting-ready moments. Mae, surrounded by her bridesmaids, was a vision of elegance. As she slipped into her dress, the excitement in the room was contagious. The soft Caribbean light filtering through the windows added a natural glow to her already radiant presence. Justin, on the other hand, had a quiet confidence about him as he prepared with his groomsmen. There was an air of anticipation—he knew that in just a short while, he would see his bride walk down the aisle.
The ceremony took place under the warm Punta Cana sun, with the turquoise ocean as the perfect backdrop. The sound of the waves provided a soothing rhythm as Mae & Justin exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family. Photographing this moment was pure magic—the way they looked at each other, the emotions on their faces, and the love surrounding them created a story that needed no words. Every shot captured the essence of their connection, set against the breathtaking tropical landscape.
Following the ceremony, we stole a few moments for a private photo session along the beach. Mae’s dress flowed beautifully in the ocean breeze, and Justin couldn’t take his eyes off her. The golden hour light turned the sky into a masterpiece of soft pinks and oranges, making for some of the most romantic shots of the day. These intimate moments, away from the crowd, allowed them to soak in the reality of their newlywed journey, and I made sure to capture every second of it.
The reception was nothing short of spectacular. Set under the starlit sky, with the gentle sound of the ocean in the background, the celebration was filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. Their first dance was mesmerizing, as they swayed together in a moment that felt frozen in time. The energy of the night was infectious—guests danced the night away, fully embracing the magic of a destination wedding.
