On May 22nd, 2025, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the wedding of Meghan & Michael at the stunning Royalton Punta Cana. From the moment I arrived, I could feel that this wedding was going to be something truly special—filled with sunshine, laughter, and that unmistakable energy that only a destination wedding in the Caribbean can bring.
The day began with getting ready, and the atmosphere was the perfect mix of excitement and calm. Meghan’s room was full of bright smiles and happy nerves as she got into her beautiful dress, with the sound of ocean waves humming faintly in the background. Every detail—her dress, the bouquet, the moments shared with her bridesmaids—was effortlessly elegant. Meanwhile, Michael was getting ready nearby, surrounded by friends, sharing jokes and toasts as he adjusted his suit with that kind of “today’s the day” grin that every photographer loves to catch.
The ceremony took place under the warm Caribbean sun, just steps from the beach. With the turquoise sea behind them and a gentle breeze moving through the palm trees, Meghan and Michael exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family. I’ve photographed many beach weddings, but there was something incredibly heartfelt about this one. After the ceremony, we moved into their photo session, and Punta Cana delivered one of those golden hours that photographers dream about. The reception was held outdoors under a sky that slowly turned from soft pink to star-filled indigo. Surrounded by palm trees, string lights, and the sound of music and laughter, Meghan and Michael celebrated the night away with their loved ones. From their romantic first dance to the spontaneous, joy-filled moves on the dance floor, the night was overflowing with energy and happiness.
