A Rustic Barn Wedding at Mitchell College
On September 13th, 2025, I had the joy of photographing the wedding of Amanda & Dylan at The Red Barn at Mitchell College in New London, Connecticut. Barn weddings always carry a charm of their own, and theirs was the perfect mix of rustic elegance, heartfelt moments, and joyful celebration.
We began with getting ready at the venue, where anticipation filled the air. Amanda’s suite was alive with laughter, final touches, and the warmth of her closest friends and family. Dylan, preparing nearby, had that calm but unmistakable glow of someone about to marry the love of his life. As a professional wedding photographer, these quiet moments of preparation are some of my favorites to capture—tiny details that carry so much meaning.
The couple chose to share a first look in the backyard of the barn, surrounded by greenery and the peaceful setting of Mitchell College.
