On May 27th, 2026, I had the pleasure of documenting Chris and Cristy’s wedding at the beautiful Grand Palladium Punta Cana, one of the most scenic locations for a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic.
As a professional wedding photographer, every wedding has its own story, but this one stood out because of its relaxed atmosphere, genuine emotions, and the incredible beach setting that surrounded every part of the day. From the early morning preparations to the oceanfront ceremony and evening celebration, every moment reflected who Chris and Cristy are as a couple.

The day began with the getting ready, where both Chris and Cristy spent the morning surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Cristy’s suite was filled with excitement as final touches were added to her hair and makeup. Throughout the morning, there were countless smiles, conversations, and emotional moments shared with family members who had traveled to Punta Cana to celebrate this special occasion.

Set against the stunning Caribbean coastline, the ceremony took place beneath a white gazebo surrounded by tropical palms, ocean views, and the warm Punta Cana breeze. The setting created a perfect atmosphere for an intimate destination wedding.
As Chris and Cristy exchanged vows, family and friends watched from just a few steps away from the beach. The combination of the tropical scenery, soft ocean sounds, and emotional moments made the ceremony feel both elegant and deeply personal.

After the ceremony, we moved directly into their photo session along the beach and surrounding resort areas.
The bright white sand, turquoise water, and tropical gardens gave us a variety of beautiful locations for portraits. What I enjoyed most during this photo session was how naturally Chris and Cristy interacted with each other.
There was no need to create moments—they happened naturally.
Walking together along the shoreline, sharing laughs beneath the palm trees, and enjoying a few quiet moments away from the celebration allowed us to create images that felt authentic and timeless.
