A Perfect Coastal Wedding: Alissa & Patrick at Montauk, Long Island
September 13th, 2024, was an unforgettable day as I had the honor of capturing Alissa & Patrick’s beautiful coastal wedding in Montauk, Long Island. From getting ready at the scenic Wavecrest Resort to the stunning ceremony at Camp Hero State Park and the lively reception at 360 East at Montauk Downs, this day was a dream come true for them, and it was an absolute privilege to be their photographer.
The day began with getting ready at Wavecrest Resort. The sound of the ocean in the background, combined with the excitement of the day, created a calming yet exhilarating atmosphere. Alissa’s smile was radiant as she prepared for the big day, and Patrick’s calm composure added a sense of grounding to the morning. As a professional wedding photographer, capturing these intimate, pre-ceremony moments is always special. The soft light coming through the windows, the quiet anticipation, and the joy shared between Alissa, Patrick, and their closest family and friends made for beautiful images that reflect the emotions of the day.
The ceremony took place at Camp Hero State Park, with breathtaking views of the cliffs and ocean as the backdrop. There’s something magical about outdoor ceremonies, especially when nature is as stunning as it was that day. The sun shone perfectly, illuminating the smiles of everyone present. Alissa & Patrick exchanged vows under the open sky, and as their photographer, I was able to capture not just their love but the beauty of the moment, framed by the natural landscape around them. After the ceremony, we had a session right by the cliffs of Camp Hero. The wind carried Alissa’s veil gently as the waves crashed below us, creating truly dramatic and romantic shots. Montauk’s rugged beauty made for some of my favorite photos of the day. The love between Alissa & Patrick, the gorgeous scenery, and the soft golden light of the late afternoon combined to create images that will remain unforgettable.
The reception at 360 East at Montauk Downs was a true celebration of their love. The elegant venue, paired with the couple’s personal touches, made the evening both sophisticated and lively. From the first dance to the energetic dance floor, I captured every laugh, every hug, and every joyful moment. Alissa & Patrick’s family and friends were full of life, and it showed in every frame. The stunning venue, with views of Montauk’s iconic landscape, added a touch of grandeur to the evening, making every photo stand out.
