Angela & James: Engagement Session at Ferry Point Park
On October 3, 2024, I had the honor of capturing the engagement session of Angela & James at Ferry Point Park, New York. The day couldn’t have been more perfect—bright skies, soft sunlight, and the gentle breeze coming off the water made for an ideal setting to photograph this incredible couple.
Ferry Point Park, with its vast open spaces and serene waterfront views, gave us the perfect backdrop to highlight Angela & James’s love story. Their connection was undeniable from the first click of the camera, and it made every shot feel special. As a professional photographer, it’s always a privilege to witness and capture such genuine moments.
Angela and James were so natural in front of the camera. Their playful chemistry made the shoot flow effortlessly. We started with some casual shots near the water, where they held hands and exchanged smiles, their joy evident in every frame. I love how their laughter brought out the best in each other—those candid moments are what truly reflect the heart of a couple’s story.
As we moved around the park, we found spots where the golden afternoon light perfectly framed them. One of my favorite moments was when we caught the sun setting behind them, casting a warm glow on the entire scene. Angela’s engagement ring sparkled, and James couldn’t take his eyes off her—a picture-perfect moment that felt like it came straight out of a romance movie.
Engagement sessions like these are why I love what I do. Capturing these raw emotions and turning them into lasting memories is what being a photographer is all about. Angela & James’s connection and their joy were the heart of this session. Ferry Point Park will now forever be a part of their story, and these photos will always remind them of this exciting chapter in their lives.
