May 1st, 2025, was a day defined by elegance, laughter, and heartfelt moments as I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Nylejahg & Samvel at the stunning Maritime Parc in Jersey City. Nestled right along the waterfront, with panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, this venue was the perfect setting for a celebration that was both modern and timeless.
The day began with getting ready, and from the very start, I knew this wedding was going to be something special. Nylejahg was surrounded by a calm, radiant energy. Her bridal details—jewelry, florals, and dress—reflected her style: classic with a confident edge. Every moment was emotional but joyful, and the genuine smiles and sweet exchanges between her and her bridesmaids were a joy to document.
Just a few floors away, Samvel was getting ready with his groomsmen, equally excited and full of energy. The guys shared some great laughs, helped each other with final touches, and took in the view from the windows—it was the calm before the beautiful storm of the day. Capturing both sides of the prep allowed me to tell the full story of the anticipation and love that built up to their “I do.”
The ceremony took place on an open terrace with the New York skyline standing proudly in the background. As a professional wedding photographer, I’m always looking for moments where emotion meets setting—and this ceremony had it all. From the moment Samvel saw Nylejahg walking down the aisle to the way they held hands and exchanged vows, you could feel the love between them in every glance. After the ceremony, we moved into their photo session, and Maritime Parc truly delivered. The combination of waterfront, modern architecture, and skyline views gave us endless possibilities.
