Faith & Mike: A Romantic Mountain Wedding at Stroudsmoor, Pennsylvania
On April 26th, 2025, tucked away in the rolling hills of the Poconos, Faith & Mike said “I do” in one of the most picturesque and heartfelt weddings I’ve had the honor to photograph. The venue, Stroudsmoor in Pennsylvania, was the perfect mix of natural beauty, rustic charm, and quiet elegance—a reflection of who they are as a couple.
We began the day with getting ready, and there was this peaceful energy surrounding both Faith and Mike. Faith’s bridal suite was filled with soft light, gentle laughter, and the kind of calm that only comes when everything feels just right. She looked breathtaking, with her dress flowing effortlessly and the kind of glow that comes from being completely in love. Meanwhile, Mike got ready in a nearby cottage, surrounded by his closest friends—easygoing, smiling, and clearly counting down the minutes to see his bride.
The ceremony took place outdoors, with the Pennsylvania landscape creating the most peaceful backdrop imaginable. Surrounded by trees and mountain air, Faith and Mike exchanged vows in a moment that felt sacred and grounded. As a professional wedding photographer, I live for moments like these—the quiet tears, the clasped hands, the way their eyes locked in as if the rest of the world didn’t exist.
After the ceremony, we moved into their photo session and let the beauty of Stroudsmoor do its thing. We wandered through stone paths, open fields, and forested corners of the venue, chasing soft light and stealing moments of stillness between the newlyweds. Faith and Mike didn’t need much direction—their natural chemistry led the way. One of my favorite shots was them standing hand in hand under a canopy of trees, with sunlight trickling through the leaves. It was simple. Honest. Perfect.
