There are weddings that feel like a beautiful story unfolding, and Samantha & Douglas gave us just that on June 7th, 2025 at the historic Brotherhood Winery in Middletown, New York.
As a professional wedding photographer, every celebration is special, but there was something truly timeless about this one. The venue itself—America’s oldest winery—offered such a rich and elegant atmosphere, perfect for a couple like Samantha and Douglas, whose love feels both classic and real.
The ceremony took place in the charming courtyard of the winery. With soft light pouring in and surrounded by beautiful old-world architecture and rows of vines, the moment felt magical. As Samantha walked down the aisle, all eyes were on her—including Douglas, who could barely hold back tears. Their vows were personal, raw, and full of genuine emotion. There was a stillness in the air, like time paused just for them.
Following the ceremony, we moved into their photo session around the vineyard and wine cellar. This was hands down one of my favorite parts of the day. Samantha & Douglas have such a natural chemistry—it wasn’t about posing, it was about letting them be in their moment. The soft breeze, the glow of the afternoon light, and the backdrop of endless vines helped us create images that felt both romantic and timeless. Their joy was effortless to capture.
The reception that followed was lively, full of laughter, great wine (of course!), and an energy that kept building throughout the night. From heartfelt toasts to their first dance, everything felt like it had been pulled from the pages of a love story. And the way they looked at each other on the dance floor… you could tell they were completely in sync.
